Silene's Policy on Handling Your Personal Data

Who Are We?
We are a consulting and educational company. We accompany managers on their journey towards change—corporate, personal, and character development. We assist current and future managers in managing their roles and coping with both routine and challenging situations.

Why Do These Data Handling Principles or GDPR Exist?
Because the European Parliament and the Council of the EU mandate it (Directive 2016/679 dated April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data) and because we want to avoid any misunderstandings in our relationship with you, our client. This involves processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR—fulfilling a contract—and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR—complying with our legal obligations.

Why Do We Need Your Data?
We need to process your personal data in order to fulfill our contract - specifically, to deliver our services to you. Through your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order or any queries you may have.
We will further process your personal data to fulfill our other legal obligations, such as for accounting and tax purposes, or for data collection related to research projects.

What Information Should Be Included in the Order?
The order is the confirming document of our relationship and should therefore include: the name of your company, the address of your business location/headquarters, your company registration number (IČO) and VAT number (DIČ) if you are a VAT payer, your name or the name of a contact person, identification of the ordered services (typically the agreed name of the service provided), the agreed purchase price, the account number where we can issue a proforma invoice, and confirmation of your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

How Long Will We Process Personal Data?
We will process your personal data for the duration of our service delivery and for an additional six consecutive calendar months thereafter. We only collect personal data if we establish a cooperation with you, for example, when you order services such as individual coaching.

Who Will Have Access to Your Data?
Your data will remain secure with us, in the possession of the owner of Silene, Mrs. Zuzana Jiránková. Any sharing of your contact information with third parties will only occur with your consent.

Furthermore, our relationship will terminate if the advance invoice is not paid without prior notice and explanation of the reasons for non-payment (e.g., a company-wide payment term of 90 days, etc.) or repeated reminders, if either your company or ours ceases to exist, if a natural disaster prevents service delivery, or for any other reason that you choose not to disclose to us.

If you have any questions regarding personal data, please feel free to contact us at vaclav@silene.cz.

We look forward to our collaboration.

Wishing you all the best,

Zuzka and Vašek Jiránkovi
